Hubert Emmanuel Alexander


ALEXANDER, Hubert Emmanuel Hubert Emmanuel Alexander, 85, of Pembroke St., Hartford, departed this life on Saturday, (March 19, 2005) at St. Francis Hospital. He was born October 21, 1919, in St. Catherine, Jamaica W. I. He worked at The Champlin Box Company in Hartford for 35 years. He was also one of the original members of the West Indian Social Club. He was a member of St. Justin's Catholic Church. He leaves to cherish his memories, his children Aaron, Leon, Mendes, Sylvester, Ina, Julie, and Natasha; his brother, Joseph Alexander of Jamaica; two sisters, Bernice Wade, and Ivy Carter both of Jamaica; 56 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Hubert is predeceased by both wives, Jean and Patricia; and two daughters, Christa and Stephanie. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 10 a.m. with calling hour 9 a.m. at St. Justin's Church, 230 Blue Hills Avenue, Hartford. Internment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Arrangements are entrusted to Fuqua Funeral Services, 94 Granby St., Bloomfield.
