James "Jim" Paternostro passed away due to complications of Cryoglobulinemia on Tuesday, (April 16, 2013). Jim was born April 18, 1945 to James and Fannie Paternostro in Hartford. He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era receiving the Gallantry Cross with Bronze Star. Jim was the owner of All American Discount Tire, LLC. He was also an avid offshore fisherman. Jim is survived by his wife, Jane Paternostro; a daughter, Cathy Seeright; a brother-in-law Dick Adamonis; two grandchildren James and Jennifer Seeright; seven nephews; two nieces; one great-nephew and two great-nieces. He was predeceased by his brother, Dominic Paternostro and a sister Loretta Adamonis.
Funeral services will leave Thursday April 25 at 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect St., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
