Joan (St. Pierre) GOULET

GOULET, Joan (St. Pierre) Joan (St. Pierre) Goulet, beloved wife of 40 years to Raymond F. Goulet, died peacefully at home on April 23, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Joan was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on April 15, 1950. She is the daughter of the late William and Laurette (Brien) St. Pierre. She was a graduate of Hartford Public High School in 1968. She founded JoRay Cleaning Co. in 1988 and was co-owner with her husband until her retirement in 2008. Besides her husband she is survived by her son Raymond F. Goulet III and his partner Pam Hamel of Colchester CT, and her daughter Theresa J. Levesque and her husband Daniel of Manchester CT as well as her six grandchildren Hayley Reynolds, Alisa Goulet, Taylor Goulet, Raymond W. Goulet, Paige Levesque, and Mary Levesque. She also leaves behind her sister Patricia Rukus and her husband Joseph of Glastonbury CT, sister-in-law Janet Rugar and her husband Ken of Windsor CT, also her mother-in-law Germaine Tardiff of Manchester CT. She also leaves two nieces, Janessa Goulet and Lilly Jacqueline. A mass will be celebrated May 1, 2010, at 11 am at St. Margaret's Church, 39 Academy Street in Madison, CT.
