Joseph Sirerol(1932 - 2013)

Joseph Sirerol, 81, of Southington, died peacefully on Monday, Nov.25, 2013 at UConn Medical Center surrounded by his loving famiy. He was the husband of the late Anna Mary (Santo) Sirerol. He was born Jan. 18, 1932 in New Britain son of the late James and Mary (Lavorgna) Sirerol. He had worked for many years at the Southington Hardware Co. before retiring from the Cold Form Company. Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Dominic Church. Joseph was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by a daughter Jo-Ann Boucher and partner Steve May, a granddaughter Amy Conti, two great grandsons, Nicholas and Joseph Conti, a brother Anthony Sirerol and his wife Anna Sirerol all of Southington. He also leaves two sisters-in-law, Lucille Mastrianni and her husband Richard of Kissimmee, FL and Margaret Santagata of Southington. In addition, he leaves his Uncle George Mastrianni with whom he could not have gotten along without all of his help and patience. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joseph is going home to be with his beloved wife Anna. The Funeral will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at St. Dominic Church. Burial will be with Military Honors at St. Thomas Cemetery.
