Lois Tracy Koldenhof(1941 - 2013)



Lois Tracy Koldenhof, 72, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away on Friday December 6th, 2013 in South Windsor, CT. Lois was born July 15,1941 in Hartford, CT Lois was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Goodwin Tracy Gillette, her father, William Pope Gillette, and sister Lucy Gillette Nicoll. Lois is survived by her loving daughter Sheri Gillette Jackson, and her son William Koldenhof of Niagra Falls, Canada, also Brother Michael Gillette and his wife Susan Gillette of Charlotte, N.C., and Sister Tracy Scherer of Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. She is also survived by her beautiful granddaughters Rian Trinity Jackson and Deven Noelle Jackson, and a handsome grandson, Kristofer Koldenhof. Also left is Nephew Wes Nicoll of East Hartford and many other nieces and nephews from North Carolina. Lois had a life long passion for animals. Throughout her life, Lois trained dolphins, sea lions, horses and German Shepherds. Besides her dog Copper, she also had a variety of parrots and horses. Lois was the proud owner of Lois's Mobil in Windsor, Connecticut. Lois would often be seen taking her German Shepard Copper to the bank with her as Copper carried the deposit for her in his mouth. Windsor residents also knew Lois as a part-time Windsor police officer. A Graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Ave. Hartford, CT. On Tuesday December 10th at 1 PM.
