AGLIO, Marion (Andrews) Marion (Andrews) Aglio, 90, a life long resident of Glastonbury, beloved wife of the late Michael Aglio died Saturday (July 3, 2004). She was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Manning) Andrews. She graduated from Glastonbury High School and worked at SNET office in Glastonbury, J.B. Williams Company and Arbor Acres Farm, Inc. She was a 50 year member of the First Church of Christ Congregational in Glastonbury and an active member of the John Tom Hill Community Club. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She had a great love of flowers, wild birds and baking. She was supportive of her family and her many close friends both locally and all over the world and she kept in constant contact through frequent letters, notes and cards. She is survived by two sons, Michael T. Aglio and his wife, Penelope of Glastonbury and Henry R. Aglio of Parkersburg, WV; a grandson, Thomas M. Aglio; her brother, Willard Andrews and his wife, Adelaide of Glastonbury; a sister, Hazel and her husband, Norwood Frye of Glastonbury; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Loomis of Louisville, VA and James and Betty Aglio of New Britain; many, many nieces and nephews; and members of her extended family, the Saglio's. She was predeceased by sisters, Rita Loomis and Edith and Philip Smith; a brother, Harry Andrews; brothers-in-law, Samuel and Doris Aglio, Russell Aglio; and sister-in-law, Mary Aglio. Her family would like to extend special appreciation to the doctors and the staff at the Marlborough Health Care Center and also Salmon Brook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center who provided special care in her time of need. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9 at 11 a.m. at the Buckingham Congregational Church, 16 Cricket Lane, Glastonbury, followed by burial at Buckingham Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tpke., Glastonbury, Thursday, July 8 from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the names of Michael and Marion Aglio to Daskam-Columbia Lodge Memorial Trust Fund, c/o Robert W.
