Marjorie I. Tuttle(1922 - 2014)

Marjorie I. (Waring) Tuttle, of Suffield, formerly of Windsor, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2014 at The Suffield House. She was the beloved wife of the late Roy M. Tuttle, who died in 1984. She was born in Aberdeen, SD in 1922, daughter of the late Henry F. Waring and Florence Savage Waring, and was a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Class of 1944. She was a member of the First Church in Windsor, United Church of Christ. Marge cherished our natural world: beach combing, tracking her feathered friends and enjoying the beauty of her flower garden. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Nancy T. Discenza and her husband, Gary, of Windsor; her sons, David R. Tuttle of Windsor and his fiancé, Kim Duell, of Tolland; Gary J. Tuttle and his wife, Debbie, of Northglenn, CO; and Charles W. Tuttle and his wife, Melanie, of Greensboro, NC; six adored grandchildren, Brian Discenza and his wife, Maura, of Simsbury; Ross Discenza of Windsor; Katrina Post and her husband, David, of Enfield; Scott Tuttle of Windsor; Jonathan Tuttle of Williamsburg, VA; and Benjamin Tuttle of Brooklyn, NY; and cherished great-grandchildren, Connor Discenza, and Kairi and Elena Post. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Henry F. Waring of Topeka, KS and her grandson, Bradford D. Tuttle of Northglenn, CO, whom she carries in her heart. Memorial service will be Saturday, February 22 at 11:00 a.m. at First Church in Windsor, 107 Palisado Ave., Windsor. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
