Mary Ann Davis(1949 - 2014)

Mary Ann (Halloran) Davis, 64, of Windsor, beloved wife of the late Michael W. Davis, died peacefully Friday, March 14, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. Mary Ann was born July 1, 1949 in Hartford, daughter of Lenore (O'Hara) Halloran and the late Joseph R. Halloran of Manchester. She resided in Manchester and Vernon for most of her life, moving to Columbus, OH and Marlton, NJ before returning to Windsor, CT in 2004. She was a 1967 Graduate of East Catholic High School and held Executive Administrative positions for over a combined 25 years at Aetna Inc. in Hartford, Brunner & Jeffries Co., LPA in Columbus, OH, and Parker McCay, P.A. in Marlton, NJ. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, going to the beach and pool, taking in the sun, listening to music, going shopping, playing scrabble, and being a Mimi to her four grandchildren. She also enjoyed socializing with friends and family¿rarely being at a loss for words. She will be remembered for her compassion, courage, generosity, and sense of humor. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Ann (Davis) Brancieri and her husband, Captain Robert Anthony Brancieri Jr. of the United States Army, of Clarksville, TN, son Jeffrey Michael Davis and his wife, Michelle Ann (Emery) Davis of Stoneham, MA, and four grandchildren, Victoria Brancieri, Robert Brancieri III, and twins Alyse and Kayleigh Davis. Other survivors include three sisters, Jean (Halloran) Pac and husband, Stephen of Chester, Kathleen (Halloran) Boryczki and husband, John of Manchester, Elizabeth (Halloran) Roach and husband, Edward of Margate, NJ, three brothers, James Halloran and wife, Paula of Charlestown, RI, Robert Halloran of Vernon, and Daniel Halloran and wife, Karen of Meriden, and five nieces, Emily Boryczki, Julianne Boryczki, Jessica Boryczki, and twins Bridget and Eileen Roach; aunt Shirley (O'Hara) Cross of Enfield; and many cousins. She is also leaving behind many close, loyal friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 9:45 AM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Bridget Church, 80 Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Manchester. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5:30 -8:00 PM at the funeral home.
