DUTKO, Michael "Duk"

Michael Dutko "Duk", 83, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, (May 10). Mike was a lifelong resident of Hartford growing up on Ward St. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary (Mish) and Anthony Dutko; and his four brothers, Anthony, Dimitro, Walter, William; and two sisters, Julia and Helen. Mike attended Hartford Public Schools and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved to cook and was an avid runner. He participated in marathons from Boston to Miami winning several trophies. He worked for many years at the famous Hearthstone Restaurant and owned several different businesses throughout his career. He then became an owner/operator truck driver and worked for many different area companies retiring from Lydall Corp. He was a Teamster Local #671. He leaves behind his wife Beverly (Lee) of 55 years; his daughters, Kimberly Davis and his special girl Susan. Also, his grandson Michael Davis.
Services will be held at Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave. West Hartford on Thursday, May 16, starting with calling hours from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.sheeahnhilbornbreen.com.
