Paolo "Paul" Ambrogio

AMBROGIO, Paolo "Paul" Paolo "Paul" Ambrogio, 69, of Cromwell, formerly of Rocky Hill, beloved husband for 42 years, of Sebastiana "Anna" (Carbone) Ambrogio, died, Tuesday (July 3, 2007). Born in Siracusa, Italy, he was the son of the late Ignazio and Giuseppina (Mozzicato) Ambrogio, he lived most of his life in Rocky Hill. Mr. Ambrogio owned and operated Paul's Hairstyling, on Main Street, East Hartford until his retirement. He previously worked for Francesco's Barber Shop. He was a member of the Canicattinese Society. Paul enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends and was an avid soccer fan, including the World Cup. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Besides his wife he is survived by three beloved daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Francesco Mancini of Berlin, Laura and Dean Alderucci of Westport, and Jeanette and Enzo Zocco of Cromwell; a sister, Brigida and her husband Pasquale Ambrogio of Rocky Hill; a sister-in-law, Rosalina Ambrogio of Wethersfield; and nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Sebastiano Ambrogio. Funeral services will be Friday at 9 a.m. from the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at BROOKLAWN, 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church, Rocky Hill at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
