WRONIAK, Peter "Big Pete"
Peter "Big Pete" Wroniak, left us on Friday (January 4, 2013). A long time resident of Hartford, he was the son of the late Boleslaw and Marie (Schuster) Wroniak. A man whose heart was bigger than his brawn, Peter was a graduate of South Catholic High School; and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his loving daughters, Melissa Wroniak of Vernon, Amy Meiners of Rocky Hill and Emily Wroniak of Ellington; and two grandchildren, Alexander and Alana Ray. Peter was also survived by two brothers, Stephen Wroniak of Middletown and Thomas Wroniak of Ellington; and several nieces and nephews, Michael Wroniak, David Wroniak, Alicia Wroniak, Joseph Wroniak and Frank Wroniak.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield followed by burial in the Veteran's Cemetery in Middletown.
