Robert H. Anderson

Robert H. Anderson, 88, of Manchester died Thursday, (May 9, 2002) at his home. He is the widower of Laura (Mikels) Anderson. He was born in East Hartford and was a long time resident before moving to Manchester. He was the son of the late John Victor and Hedvic (Hoggkvist) Anderson. He was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Anderson was employed as a bus driver for the Connecticut Transit Co. retiring after 35 years of service in 1979. He is survived by his three sons, Robert V. Anderson of East Hartford, William J. Anderson of Vernon, and David Anderson of Manchester; a daughter and son-in law, Glenda Ouellette and Arthur Lundeberg of Manchester; a sister, Shirley Dellorso of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Bonnie Ouellette and Amy Anderson. Mr. Anderson was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 13, 11 a.m. in the Callahan Funeral Home, 1602 Main Street, East Hartford. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. Calling hours are Sunday, May 12, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
