Rudolph J. Morin II



Our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, Rudolph J. Morin II passed away at home on April 20th, 2014 at the age of 43. He will now begin a new life without pain. A resident of Moodus for 10 years, he leaves behind his wife Lori, two-step daughters, Rachel Blanchette of Medford, NY, and Kayla Blanchette of Southington, CT, whom he loved dearly, and a beloved cat, Hanna, also his loving parents, Lillian and Rudolph Sr, and his wonderful brother Jason, all of East Hampton, CT. Rudy attended East Hampton High School, where he graduated in 1988. He then went to Hartford State Technical College, where he earned his degree in Civil Engineering in 1991. He was also active in Boy Scouts as a young man, which earned him the highest title of Eagle Scout in 1989. He worked for the CT DOT for 20 years as a Transportation Engineer. He was a frequent donor to Locks of Love and the Wounded Warrior Project. He leaves behind friends and relatives. Please join us in the celebration of his life at Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main St. East Hampton, CT from 5-8pm on Thursday, April 24th, 2014. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to The Wounded Warrior Project, Locks of Love, or Boy Scouts of America.
