Stanley Bialomyza, 91, of Hudson, FL, formerly of Suffield, beloved husband of Sandra (Rzeznikiewicz) Bialomyza, died peacefully on Tuesday, (March 19, 2013), in Hudson, FL, surrounded by his family. He was born on Oct. 30, 1921, in East Hartford, son of the late Walter and Antonina (Skorski) Bialomyza. Stanley served our country during World War II with the U.S. Army. Upon returning from service he settled in Suffield, where he lived most of his life. A sheet metal worker, Stanley worked for Palmer Sheet Metal for many years. Stanley is a life member and retired Captain of the Suffield Fire Department and Charter and Life Member of the Landry Sic Post #9544 VFW in West Suffield. Along with his wife Sandra, of over 35 years, he leaves his daughter, Maryanne Murray and her husband Paul of Suffield, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Dorothy Bower, brothers, Bruno and John Jurkowski and sister, Mary Ottani.
His family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2013, from 5-7 p.m., at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. North (Rt. 159), Suffield. Family and friends may gather on Tuesday morning 9 a.m., at the funeral home; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Suffield.
