BOYCE, Thomas Patrick

Thomas Patrick Boyce, 80, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Sunday, (September 8, 2013). Born in Hartford on December 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Christopher and Laura (Kowalski) Boyce. Thomas served in the Korean War as a Staff Sargent followed by a long career in the automotive industry. Later, he retired from his own business, TLC Jewelry Service. Mr. Boyce is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, JoAnne Elizabeth (Gryguc) Boyce, and his children; Linda S. Boyce of Bristol, Peggy Gould and her husband Patrick of Beavercreek, OH, Daniel P. Boyce and his wife, Mary of Bristol; and Sharon M. Boyce and her husband Jim Pellino of Vernon; his grandchildren who knew him as "Bebop", Tiffany Tarchini, Julianne and Stephen Gould, Catherine, Caroline and Chrissy Boyce, Lindsey and Claire Pellino, and his sister Joan O'Rourke of Carson City, NV.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning September 12, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave, Forestville, followed by a procession to St. Joseph Church, Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the funeral.
