You are and always will be one of my most special memories. Every time I make potato soup I smile and think of how you and Gail taught me in the warmest, happiest kitchen I´ve ever known. I loved you then and I love you now.

It's been seven years since Ma's passing and it still hurts just as much and brings tears to my eyes.

So sad to hear of Iggy's passing. Some of the best memories of my life were connected to Ma and Dunk, the Meisterling farm and the huge, warm family that accepted me and my son into their lives. They were family to me and anyone that walked into Ma's kitchen. I'm so glad I got to see Ma the last time I was in Connecticut......it was if the 30 years that had past were a blink of an eye. I was the long lost child home again. Thank you Iggy, you will live forever in my memories.

Ma, you are the bestest m-i-l a guy could ever have.
You always treated me with respect!! I have no one
to share books with now. Whenever I walked through the kitchen
door, you always greeted me with a heartfelt hug and a big smootch.
Who is going to do that now??? I will, will, will miss you!!
