Abhishek Sinha Obituary
Abhishek Sinha, 15, of West Hartford, beloved son of Indrajit and Susan Sinha, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2016, in Hartford. Born in Stamford on March 9, 2001, Abhishek moved to West Hartford as a young boy and attended Aiken Elementary School in West Hartford, CREC Aerospace Engineering School in Bloomfield, and most recently he was a student at William Hall High School in West Hartford. While growing up, Abhishek ran cross country and played soccer. He loved technology and was fan of Steve Jobs and everything that Apple created. During the summers and in his free time, he volunteered at the Westmoor Park and at the Buena Vista Counselor in Training (CIT) Program in West Hartford. Most of all, Abhishek will be remembered as a selfless and giving person who always put other's needs ahead of his own. From caring for his family to sharing his food and lunch money in school with others who did not have enough, Abhishek always wanted those around him to be cared for first. He attended Calvary Church in West Hartford with his family. He leaves his parents, Indrajit and Susan Sinha; his sister, Priya Sinha of West Hartford; his maternal grandparents, Norma Joseph of Long Island, NY and Brisram Bridgemohan of Bronx, NY; six uncles; eight aunts; and many cousins, other relatives and friends. His family will receive friends on Friday, September 23, 4-7 p.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 10 a.m., at Calvary Church, 1855 Albany Ave., West Hartford. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Memorial donations may be made to Hartford Hospital - Fund Development, Attn: Institute of Living, P.O. Box 5037, Hartford, CT 06102-5037. Mrs. Sinha - I'm so sorry Abhi had to pass this way. Please know this is not your fault. He loved you more than you will ever know. I remember all the conversations we had about you and how his eyes lit up when he talked about you. Abhi thought of you as his best friend. I wish I could've been there for Abhi in his last days and I'm truly so sorry I wasn't. I can't even imagine how hard it must, still, be for you. I wish things weren't this way. You had a wonderful son. Abhi will always be in my heart and thoughts. You and your family are in my prayers.
