Michael Curley Obituary
Michael B. Curley, 53, of Suffield, beloved husband of Holly (McCormick) Curley passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 12, 2016 at his home. Born March 18, 1962 in Hartford, son of the late David and Arlington (Bowen) Curley he grew up and lived in Windsor most of his life, living in Suffield for the past 10 years. Michael owned and operated Curley's Fuel in Windsor. He was a member of the Windsor Exchange Club; he enjoyed boating, motorcycles and old movies. Besides his wife Holly, he is survived by three children, Molly-Ann Curley of Windsor, Michael Shamus Curley of Rockland, ME, Dean Alden Testa of Groton; six siblings, Eileen Curley and her husband Thomas Landers of Windsor, David Curley and his wife Gail of Agawam, MA, William Curley of Windsor, Dennis Curley and his wife Karen of Windsor, Daniel Curley and his wife Jenny of Windsor, Kevin Curley and his wife Lorraine of Morrisonville, NY; and many nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016, 11 AM at St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad St., Windsor. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Connecticut Children's Medical Center Foundation, Inc., 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106.

To the Curley Family,I did business with mike forever 20 years, a hardworking, fair man who was a friend. I will never forget that on a rainy day he came to my house to work on a problem outside, I told him to come back if he wanted on a drier day but he said he wanted to get the job done for me as promised! It was also on that day he told me he had to go to the hospital to visit his daughter, he said how much he loved her and was concerned for her health, not enough space here for details but he also spoke so fondly of his family, my condolences, God Bless.

It was so terrible to hear this sad news. Our most sincere condolences go out to his family. While living in the US we always enjoyed being Curley`s loyal customer - even after moving from Windsor to Granby. Even now after our return back to Germany we will always remember Michael for his great qualities; he was very kind, always friendly and truly genuine. Michael, rest in peace.

We just learned of Michael's passing while away on vacation. We won't be able to attend his services and want to extend our deepest sympathy. Mike was especially kind to us over the years when we had furnace issues- he was the guy you could call and he'd help regardless of how inconvenient.
