Dave Ransom was an incredible man. Smart, kind, funny and generous I worked with him on the building and grounds committee at the Hill-Stead Museum. I believe he wrote Hill-Stead's National Historic landmark application. His architectural writings remain an important record for Greater Hartford. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Mr. Ransom for many years at Avery. His smile is what I will remember most. It was ever present and always welcoming. He was a fascinating gift to this world. Thank you for sharing him with us. Mary Ellen
