Vern, Sorry to hear of your mom's loss. Actually I was thinking of your family yesterday and found this. Elnora was my earliest exposure to a gifted, talented, hard working, and strong women. Your family hired me as delivery boy in the 60's. She was always very nice to me . Regards, Mike Betz

I was sorry to hear of the loss of Elnora. I met her for the first time in 2008 when we visited her at home. I was impressed with her activities in her community, and her interest in genealogy.

Dear Vernon and family. We are in Florida and just read about your Mom on the courant website. I remember so well when she created the beautiful floral arrangements at Case Florists. All last summer she came to a group at McLean that I facilitate called "Reminisce with Mary". She told us so many stories of days gone by in Simsbury. She was so proud of being one of the oldest members of the DAR and the Congregational Church. She was one of a kind and Simsbury has lost a wonderful lady. With Deepest sympathy, Mary and Walter Mitchell
