Doris Dunham Obituary

DUNHAM, Doris M. Doris M. Dunham, 74, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital on Monday (March 20, 2006). Daughter of the late Leon and Mae (Ryan) Dunham, she was born on October 1, 1931 in Hartford. Doris moved to Wethersfield several years ago. She graduated from Hartford High School. Doris was employed in the Accounting-Payroll Department at the Metropolitan District Commission in Hartford, retiring after 42 years of service. Doris leaves her cousins, Ann Stavola and Barbara Stavola, both of Wethersfield, Patricia (Ryan) Despard of Virginia, Robert Ryan of Massachusetts and Ruth and Edward Ryan, both of Texas; her dear friends, Marianne Riccio, Mary Lou Howley and Betty Kerr, and her special caregiver, Patti Douglas. She was predeceased by her first cousins, Mary (Ryan) Stavola, Irene Ryan, Leo Ryan, Edward Ryan and David Ryan. Family and friends are invited to graveside services on Friday, March 24th at 10 a.m. in section 20 at Cedar Hill Cemetery. At Doris' request there are no calling hours. Donations in Doris' memory may be made to the CT Humane Society, 70 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111. The James T. Pratt Funeral Service is assisting with arrangements.
