Fannie Allard Obituary

ALLARD, Fannie Fannie W. Allard, 95, formerly of the Hazardville section of Enfield for over 50 years, entered into her eternal rest on Saturday (March 29, 2008) in Phoenix, AZ. Born on October 25, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Nowak) Wenc. She was a former member of St. Bernard's Church in Enfield. Fannie was formerly employed for Hallmark Cards and as an inspector for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. In the 1970's she relocated to Phoenix, where she resided until her passing. A beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her sons, Reverend Stephen Johnson of Athol, MA, Francis Allard of Dennisport, MA and Joseph Allard of Brooklyn, NY; her stepdaughters, Marguerite Comcowich of Leadville, CO and Joan O'Brien of Litchfield; a sister, Cecilia Kelliher of Enfield, 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Moskal in 1961 and her husband Joseph E. Allard in 1993. A procession will form by 10 a.m. on Monday, April 7 at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road to St. Bernard Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Fannie's family at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels on Monday morning prior to the services from 9-10 a.m. For directions or to leave an online expression of sympathy, please visit: www.leetestevens.com.
