Paul Keppler Obituary

KEPPLER, Paul Dana Paul Dana Keppler, passed away Sunday, (October 21, 2007) following a short illness. Paul was the son of the late John F. and Dorothy (McCormack) Keppler. He was born on June 20, 1948, and was raised in West Hartford and attended Conard High School. He moved to Newington in 1980. Paul worked as an electrician for 36 years for IBEW Local 35. He is survived by his loving wife Marsha (Duncan) Keppler; his sons, Jamie Keppler and his wife Carrie of Morris, and Kristopher and Gregory Keppler of Newington; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Madeliene Keppler; his devoted brother John F. Keppler III and his loving companion Karen Ostby of Meriden; his mother and father-in-law, Richard and Marilyn Duncan; and his caring sister-in-law Cynthia Duncan all of West Hartford. Paul was a kind and caring person who was always there to help friends and family. The concern and support shown by his many friends during his hospitalization was overwhelming, and will never be forgotten. Friends may join us for a Memorial Mass on Saturday, October 27, at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 183 Church St., Newington at 11:30 a.m. There are no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, because of Paul's love of animals, memorial donations in Paul's memory may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111, or the charity of one's choice. Arrangements under the direction of Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, CT 06033. For more information please visit www.mem.com or call 860-633-3539.

The Keppler Family,

I am deeply sadden by Paul's passing. I've spent the pass few days reflecting on some great memories and alot of laughs. Growing up at the Horse Guard and in the neighborhood, he was my "big brother" always looking out for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Paul will not be forgotten by his Conard friends. I know...I still remember him after 42 years.
A great guy, I am sure he will be sorely missed.
