Dolores Girouard

Dolores (Dunlap) Girouard, 74, of Keirstead Circle, Marlborough, beloved wife of the late Edgar G. Girouard, Sr., passed away Thursday, (January 3, 2002) at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown. She was born in Hartford, Dec. 24, 1927, daughter of the late Harold and Esther Dunlap, and had resided in Marlborough for over 50 years. Before her retirement she was employed by the Town of Marlborough as a receptionist-secretary. She is survived by her loving family, three sons, Stephen G. Girouard and his wife, Catherine of Willow Springs, SC, Mark E. Girouard and Diane Seaburg of Lebanon, Edgar G. Girouard, Jr. and Tracy Stevens of East Haddam; two daughters, Janet L. Hoisington and her husband, Gregory of Andover, Tracy L. Girouard and Eddie Huggins of Palm City, FL; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Clinton Dunlap. Memorial services will be held Sunday, Jan. 6, 12 Noon at the Marlborough Congregational Church, with the Rev. Howard Seip, officiating. Burial will take place on Monday, 10 a.m. in Marlboro Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Friends wishing may send memorial contributions to Roy B. Pettengill Ambulance Association, P.O.
