Shirley R. Buckley

Shirley R. Buckley, 75, of Ponemah Village, in the Westchester section of Colchester, died peacefully at her home Wednesday (June 26, 2002). Shirley was born August 24, 1926, daughter of the late John and Leslea McGrath. She was the widow of Joseph Buckley who died in 1991. She is survived by a son, David Hurlbut and his wife Cheryl of East Haddam; a daughter, Stacey Erickson and her husband David of Colchester; grandsons, David and Craig Hurlbut and Keith Erickson; stepdaughters, Joanne Hartman and her husband George, and Diane Mastronardi; nieces, Kris Abbott of Ft. Meyers, FL and Kathleen Wayne of Naples, FL; and a nephew, Kim Krell of Cape Coral, FL. She was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine Krell. Calling hours will be Saturday, June 29, 4-6 p.m. with a brief service immediately following at the Swan Funeral Home, W.F. Palmer Rd., Moodus. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at the Massachusetts National Cemetery on Cape Cod, MA.
