Arthur Wohllebe Obituary
Arthur F. Wohllebe, 84, of Tolland, beloved husband of the late Sandra (Candito) Wohllebe, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016. He was born October 6, 1931 in Hartford, son of the late Arthur and Minnie (Skolianik) Wohllebe. He graduated Bates College in Maine with a degree in Business Administration and attended Notre Dame College before serving in the Korean War with the U.S. Marines. Arthur was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed all sports; he was a basketball high school referee for 25 years. He is survived by his son Keith and wife Sarah Wohllebe of Tolland. He was predeceased by his daughter Cheryl Blackburn and his sister Winnifred Wohllebe. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff and nurses at Woodlake at Tolland for their compassionate and wonderful care, especially Jermaine, Jessica, Amy, and Joanne. A funeral home service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, CT 06066 with burial to follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Vernon.
