I worked for Conrad back in the late 70's at RGH where he instituted the Cart Program that I was part of. He had a commanding presence but was such a wonderful man to work for. My condolences.

My condolences to his family. I am proud to say that I was one of the four original medics that Conrad had trained for the first medic class for Bradley International Airport. His legacy continues on with the dozens of medics that are still serving their communities as a result of his dedication to his profession. I remember that some of us in that initial class often referred to his program as the "Conrad School of Anxiety". It was a loving term for a great man. He had the knack of instilling knowledge in us and then throwing us for a loop by "what if". Hence the name. We learned a lot in that program. Although the medical director was another great mane, Dr. Phillip Stent, it was Conrads' program. Conrad, rest in peace my friend!
