Geraldine, Carol, Nancy and Morgan:
What a great man. Norman will be remembered for his wonderful recollections of the history of Vernon/Rockville and the Fire Department.
Norman helped us out as our great neighbor of over 20 years. We appreciate his help with the kids'4-H dairy projects and for keeping our "beefers" at the farm.
We are glad we had a chance to see him on our last visit "up North".

The Slicer Family is proud to be a friend and Church family member of the Strongs. Norm Strong was a very loyal person with simple & clear ideas on life. As an inspiration to us all, he set examples "Far & Wide" and set a high standard of "Love of Life" for us to follow.

The Love of God was close to his heart. The love of his wife and family was even closer.

With Sympathy,

Norman was an outstanding leader in many ways. I had the joy of working for Norman one summer back in the early 60s. I learned how to drive a tractor on one of my first days working for him. Later I nearly ran him over while learning to press the clutch in before starting one of his trucks. He taught me a great deal in the few months that I worked for him. I am sorry to hear of his passing. He will be very much missed as I have fond memories of him. My prayers go out to his family. Maybe they will enjoy hearing of my experiences working for this great man. [email protected] (Chicago Suburbs) God Bless
