Adrienne Moquin Obituary
Adrienne Moquin, 96 of Portland, wife of the late Lionel Moquin passed away Sunday December 15, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Laura (LaFlemme) Rioux. Born on April 17, 1917 in Manchester, NH she has lived in Portland since 1949. She worked at the Lynngrace Dress Company in Portland for over 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Portland and also enjoyed gardening. She leaves her sons, Leo Moquin of Texas and Ray Moquin of Florida, a daughter, Jeannette Parker of Portland, a sister, Emiline Ray of North Carolina, 8 grandchildren, many greatgrandchildren, greatgreatgrandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 19, 2013 with a Mass at 10AM at the Church of St. Mary 51 Freestone Ave Portland. Burial will be Friday at 11AM directly at the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday at Portland Memorial Funeral Home 231 Main St Portland from 8:30 to 9:30 AM prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Portland EMT P.O. May god bless you & your family at this time of sorrow. I have known Adrienne & her Family since they lived in Middletown, Ct. in the early !940s. Her Son Ray Moquin is my Brother-in-law. Sorry to hear of your loss.
