Albert Ginazanski Obituary



Albert L. Ginazanski, 89, of Rockville, CT, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Fox Hill Center in Vernon, CT. He was born in Bristol, CT, on February 12, 1924, son of the late John and Agnes (Kazakiawicsicke) Ginszanski. Albert served proudly during World War II in the U. S. Navy on various ships and the island of Tarawa. After the war, he was employed as an aviation mechanic at both Bradley and Brainard Fields. He is survived by his stepson, Robert L. Chapman and his wife, Barbara, of Manchester, CT, and his stepgrandchildren, Kathleen and David Davis, Lee and Dorene Chapman, Stephen and Sherri-Ann Chapman, and Michael and Cheryl Chapman, and several great grandchildren. Albert is also survived by his brother, Joseph Ginszauskas, of CA, and a special friend, Vicki Saia. Albert was predeceased by his loving wife of 44 years, Rita Landrie Ginazanski, and several sisters and brothers. At Albert's request, a private graveside service will take place with burial in the State Veterans Cemetery, in Middletown, CT. Services are being handled by the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home.
