Alfred Kuhbock Obituary
Alfred Kuhbock, 85, of Middletown, beloved husband of Anna (Koran) Kuhbock, died Thursday, (November 14, 2013) surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Austria, son of the late Josef and Johanna Kuhbock. Prior to his retirement Alfred worked many jobs as a metallurgical engineer, he was employed with EIS Manufacturing, Mott Metallurgical, and Connecticut Valley Hospital. He was also the owner of ACK Enterprises, where he employed and taught many people the machinist trade. He was a Communicant of Saint Pius X Church and was a member of the Middletown Elks. Besides his wife, Alfred is survived by his daughters, Ingrid Johnson-Flagg of Bridgeport and Cynthia Kuhbock-Ruffino of Middletown; five grandchildren, Michelle Millington and her husband Jeff, Karla Frederick and her husband Dwight, Nicole Ruffino, Jake Ruffino and Elijah Muratori and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. Saint Pius X Church. Friends call at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be held in Miner Cemetery.
