Anna Lotzniker Obituary



Anna (Vosilla) Lotzniker, 94, of South Windsor, passed away Sunday, (December 8, 2013) surrounded by her loving family. Born January 7, 1919 in Vozilici, Yugoslavia daughter of the late Josip and Marija (Skalamera) Vosilla. She came to America with her family in 1956 and lived in Astoria, Queens, NY and later moved to South Windsor in 1998. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Church, South Windsor. Anna enjoyed playing cards and was a seamstress. She was predeceased by her late husband of 61 years, Amedeo Lotzniker whom she married December 27, 1942. Anna is survived by her son, Adriano Lotzniker of South Windsor. Her family will receive friends Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM, at St. Margaret Mary Church, South Windsor. Burial will be in Wapping Cemetery, South Windsor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Meals on Wheels program at CRT/Meals on Wheels, 555 Windsor Street, Hartford, CT 06120.
