Joan,
I was saddened by the news about your mother. I hope that the love of your friends and family comforts you.
When my mom passed, someone gave me the advice to "Always keep her in the present." It has helped me considerably; perhaps it will you. My sincere condolences.

Anna Mae was a great part of my growing up as I lived just around the corner and spent at least 2 or 3 days a week up there hanging out with Beth and Joan. I loved her dearly and remember all the great times - Sunday rides in the country, trips to the lake, great meals around the family table, shopping at Grants. She was a peach of a person inside and out and this world will be a sadder world without her. My love to all the "kids," as Beth would say.
