Arnold Myers Obituary
ARNOLD CHARLES MYERS, (affectionally known as Chuckie), 64, of Bloomfield, CT went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Son of the late William U. Myers, Sr. and Mrs. Evelyn Myers, Chuckie was born in Hartford, CT on October 25, 1949. He attended both Hartford and Bloomfield Public Schools and was a member of the 1969 Bloomfield High School Graduating Class. He retired from the Hartford Board of Education after over 25 years as a Security Officer. He was also a Special Deputy and really enjoyed being a Park Ranger for the City of Hartford. He also worked for Heublein for several years. In addition to his devoted mother, Evelyn Myers, he leaves fond memories to his sisters, Bernadyne Myers-Hopkins and Beverly A. Myers, his brothers; William U.(Sharon) Myers, Jr. and David Myers, Sr. His loving nephews and nieces, Uncles, Mr. Harold (Loretta) Myers and Mr. Alfred Booth; Aunts, Mrs. Catherine Strong, Mrs. Geraldine (James) Hicks and Esther Kelly. A host of great nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Mr. William U. Myers, Sr. Chuckie will be forever remembered by his favorite expression "Bite the Dust". Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM at ALL FAITH MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 90 John Fitch Boulevard, South Windsor, CT. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 AM. Internment, Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT.

Classic days at the Rockwell basketball courts when they were on the other side of the street. Chuckie and David going back and forth ranking on each other. It was so funny and so much fun. Today we call it stand up comedy.
