Arthur SABLE Obituary
SABLE, Arthur E.
Arthur E. Sable, of Coconut Creek, FL, long time resident of New Britain and Windsor, died July 23 at age 89. Beloved step-father of Clifford and Amy Caplan of MA and Peter Caplan of NJ. Very special friend of Roz Kalker. Beloved grandfather of Meredith, Jonathan, Stephen, Cara and Charles. Art was a World War II veteran serving with the USAF in Europe and was a former commander of the New Britain post of the Jewish War Veterans. Following the war, Art attended both UConn and Central Connecticut. For many years, he owned and operated Allstate Distributors in New Britain. Art was a long time supporter and proud member of the New Britain YMCA where he was honored with a lifetime membership.
Services were private. Donations in Art's memory may be sent to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 W. Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486.
