What a very special lady. My wife and I had the honor of spending an incredible week with Barbara as she and I were co-deans for a conference on communication in 1990 at Silver Lake Conference Center. Such wonderful reflections and it was truly joyful planning with her. She was a blessing to the many people she came in contact with. You all are in our thoughts and prayers during this time.

She was my Mom's best friend, I've known her almost forever. She made our beautiful wedding cake (1975) and was a wonderful woman. I have good memories of our families camping, at the beach, and just having fun times. I know she will be missed by so many. Love and Peace to Cori, John & Brighid.
