Ben Hittleman Obituary
Ben Hittleman, 93, of Delray Beach, FL passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. He grew up in New Britain and Bristol, CT and lived for many years in West Hartford. He owned the Bristol Spring Manufacturing company that was located in Plainville, CT. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Hannah [Rosenblatt] Hittleman, 2 daughters and their husbands, Sandra Myerson and Michael Gailus of Kirkland, WA, Bonnie Hittleman-Lewis and Paul Lewis of West Hartford, CT and son Randie Hittleman of Lake Worth, FL. He was predeceased by his son, Edward Hittleman of Cheshire, CT. He leaves seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 96011 or www.alz.org ; and/or Jewish Federation of North America, P.O. Box 157, New York, NY 10268 or www.jfnagift.org. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, CT. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday following internment & Thursday at the home of Bonnie & Paul Lewis, 9 Porter Drive, West Hartford, CT.

Hanna, Sandy, Bonnie & Randy,
I was deeply saddened to read about your fathers passing today. I have fond memories of our families getting together on Sunday's, your father BBQing for everyone and swimming in your families pool along with the swimming lessons. Or even walking over from Kalart Victor to Bristol Spring to say hi to your father & Eddie.
