PALAZHI, Benitta O.
Benitta O. Palazhi, 54, of West Hartford, loving wife of Ouseph A. Palazhi, passed away on Tuesday, (March 5, 2013) at St. Francis Hospital after a long, courageous battle with ALS. She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Church in West Hartford and owned Asia Grocers in Newington where she worked tirelessly along side her family every day. Benitta was a loving and devoted wife and mother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her husband Ouseph, she is survived by her children; Tony, Mareena, Tom and Reynold Palazhi; and her four brothers and four sisters of the Mavumkal family.
All are invited to Benitta's funeral service at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, March 11 at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave. in Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Church in West Hartford. She will be laid to rest in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford immediately following the Mass. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at Newington Memorial.
