CARNEY, Bernice H.
Bernice H. Carney, 90, of Glastonbury, formerly of Windsor died on Tuesday, (June 25, 2013) at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Hartford the daughter of Norbert and Bernice (Young) Carney and lived most of her life in Windsor. She was previously employed at the Aetna Insurance Co where she had worked for over 40 years. Bernice is survived by her nieces and nephews Susan Schooley and her husband Patrick of York, ME, Kelly Geary and her husband Tim of Glastonbury, Paul Riccardo of Windsor, Mark Riccardo and his wife Jen of Windsor and Maureen Carney of Tolland; her great nieces and nephews Shannon, Monica and Clarissa Schooley and Cara and Jack Geary; her sister Virginia Riccardo and her husband Joseph of Suffield and her sister-in-law Betty Carney. Bernice was also predeceased by her brother Richard "Rit" Carney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 12, 2013 at 11 at St. Bridget Church, 80 Main St., Manchester with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Poquonock. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St., Manchester on Friday morning from 9:30 - 10:30.

Bernie (Boo)was a sweet lady and always very gracious. She actually liked to ride in my convertible with the top down!I will miss her but I know my father will be so glad to see her. Maureen
