PILATTI, Carlo Thomas
Carlo Thomas Pilatti, 88, died in Conestoga, PA, July 25, 2013. Born February 11, 1925 in Biel, Switzerland, he recently lived in Farmington, and Leesburg, FL. Upon the death of his beloved wife, Hermine Rosa, he moved to Conestoga, PA to live with his daughter, Silvia and her family. Carlo was a chef in fine hotels and restaurants in Switzerland and the USA and was also the former owner of Edelweiss Restaurant, West Hartford. He then owned Colonial Liquors in Farmington until retiring to Florida where he worked in a country club and enjoyed the sunshine. Survivors include Silvia and Robert Doe; Erich (his son) and Regina Pilatti, grandchildren Melissa, Christina, Erika, Gabrielle, Nick, Bobby, Jonathan and Jacqueline. He was also very proud of his great-grandsons, Aiden, Tristan, Hunter and Haven.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday August 13 10 a.m. at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in South Windsor with burial immediately following at Center Cemetery in South Windsor.
