SWEENEY, Carole Ann
Carole Ann Sweeney, 77, of East Granby, beloved wife of Joseph Sweeney, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, (August 21, 2013) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford to the late Harry E. and Hollace M. McGee, she worked for General Electric for many years and has been a resident of East Granby most of her life. Carole loved her home and her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed keeping track of her investments in the stock market. Besides her husband Joseph of East Granby, she is survived by her daughters Deborah Sweeney of Windsor Locks and Karen Lavoie and her husband Edward of East Granby; her sisters Bette DeCoteau and her husband Thomas of West Suffield, and Holly Petrilak and her husband John of Granby; her grandchildren Edward "EJ" Lavoie and Taylor Lavoie. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Vincent McGee.
