I knew Chuck only slightly,me also being a friend of Bill's.I got to know him when I had the 2000 census table in a Naylor hallway.I spent time with him all the days I was there. Then he retired and I kinda lost track of him.He was a friend to everyone right up until the end, going to meetings in a wheelchair.

This time of year we all have time to reflect where we have come and where we are headed. Chuck was an inspiration to me and the times we were able to spend time enjoying hunting in Vermont and Connecticut were outstanding. I am inspired that his son and grandson are following his hunting tradition. I continue to keep the entire "Bondaies" Family in my thoughts and prayers throughout the year(s).

I just got the word of Chuck's passing. We were childhood pals up and through high school. Chuck was the leader of our neighborhood gang. There was Chuck, Steve Kent, Cookie Delaney, Tootie Lucca, and me (Louie). We went to school and "hung out" everyday in Chuck's back yard, "the lot". I remember a funny, smart, athletic kid. The girls adored him.

He was a major influence on my childhood. I am so grateful to have been one of his buddies while growing up. I have thought of him often over the years, whenever I was nostalgic for the old days. I will continue to remember him as the "coolest" kid I grew up with.

My heartfelt condolences to his family.

I only just heard about Chuck's passing and want to let you know how much he helped me over the years. Even after I moved from Connecticut to South Carolina I would think of him when I was in Taylors. His smile was contagious and his warmth and wisdom was delightful. I will miss him when I visit the Recovery Club. A beautiful light has gone out of our world and into the heavens. Sincere condolences for your loss. May you be comforted by the fact that he has left behind a huge legacy of kindness and grace and taught many of us the ways of Bob and Bill.

Chuck and I had a rather unique relationship. We were first & second cousins. Our dads who were first cousins married sisters, thus we were both from the "Bonadies" side of the family. I have so many fond memories of our summers at Chapman Beach, visits to his home and his dad's store. I always thought of Chuck as my second big brother because he always had my back, especially during our college years together at Central. I knew Chuck as a truly warm and selfless individual and the many entries here from his students just prove to underscore that and the fact that he was truly loved. I shall miss you dear cousin. If you see Nicky, tell him I think of him every day.

Chuck was my best friend's older brother. I admired his intelligence and devotion to family and friends. He was a great student of deer hunting and made me very proud when I was battling lung cancer he was able to harvest a nice buck. The conversations he had with his Dad and my father were very interesting. Our hunting group now has lost another member, but I know his love of God and God's love for Chuck, he will be in a good place with his Dad and brother. I will miss him and want to express to Linda and his children is that Chuck is at peace and he will love them forever. I will keep him in my prayers until I am called home.

My deepest sympathies go out to the family of Mr. Bonadies. Although I never had him as a teacher, he was a corner stone of my early education years and a fixture at Naylor School from the time I started kindergarten until my family moved just before I started eight grade. I remember when I was in forth grade how he and Mrs. Lowe would pick on each other to lighten the mood for all of us in their classes. He always had a kind word and a warm smile. He will be missed.

I had Mr. Bonadies for 7th grade social studies at Naylor, and he taught me two very important lessons that served me though out my life. First, I enjoyed a level of material prosperity that medival kings would envy. Second, stocks are only pieces of paper that people are willing to exchange for money and nothing more. My deepest condolences to his family in their time of grief. He shall be missed.

Mr Bonadies was one of the nicest and most sincere people I have ever met. I attended Naylor School (graduated in 99) and I was lucky enough to have him as my Vice Principal and Principal. He would take time out of his busy life and would come watch me in bowling tournaments when I was 12 years old. After I graduated we lost touch. My mother passed away 2 years and he came to her wake. It was truly a pleasure to see his face and hear his voice again. I almost felt like a kid again back at Naylor when I saw him. He hadn't change one bit. I'm sure he is up in heaven sharing Naylor PTO memories with my mother. Rest in peace.
