Charles H. Keen III

Charles H. Keen, III passed peacefully into the kingdom of heaven on December 18, 2013, following a heroic battle with bladder cancer. He was a witty, easy-going man, with a passion for his family, his work, and a good game of solitaire. He loved to swim in his pool, fish, and take his "girlfriend" (dog) Bailey for walks. He touched many lives with his generous spirit and quirky sense of humor, leaving us all with many fond memories. He is survived by his wife and friend of 33 years, Kelly A. Keen. His children Dr. Julie Keen and Dr. Christopher Keen want to thank their dad for every opportunity he gave them and will continue to make him proud. He is survived by his brother Louis Eu (Gene) Keen of South Windsor, CT, his brother Matthew Keen and his wife Julie Cote Keen of Canton, CT, his brother Robert Keen and his wife Mary Keen, of Foley, Alabama, and his nieces and nephews, who he loved very much. His friends and colleagues brought fun and joy to his life. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Jackie Keen, and his parents, Charles H. Keen, Jr. and Anne (Tavano) Keen. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013, 10 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 673 Ellington Rd., South Windsor.
