Charles LeFebvre Obituary



Charles N. LeFebvre of Bradenton, Florida, originally of Windsor CT, died March 10, 2013. Born to Alfred and Amelia LeFebvre in 1930, Charles grew up in Windsor, CT. During his years at John Fitch High School, he sang, led a polka band, and played several instruments. Charles served as a Sonar instructor in the US Navy during the Korean War. In 1957, he graduated from the University of Connecticut with a major in Business Administration. After a move to Florida, Charles worked as an accountant and certified financial planner for various businesses which he founded. He enjoyed sailing, camping and motorcycling. With his wife Carol, Charles enjoyed traveling and trailer camping in western United States and New England. Charles leaves his wife of fourteen years, Carol, his daughter, the Reverend Denise Stringer and husband Jeff of Niskayuna, New York, and her sons Luke Gregory Dillon of Maryland and Gabriel Dillon of Pennsylvania. He also leaves his brothers Alfred LeFebvre of Bloomfield, (wife, Norma) and Paul LeFebvre of West Springfield, MA, (wife, Edith) and their children- Marc, Gene, Neil, Alison, Dennis, Guy and Jay. Charles was predeceased by his son, Dean.

Sorry to here about Charlie,s passing. We were childhood friends growing up and living next door. I met Al again when we both worked for Hamilton. Haven't seen Paul since school days. My best to you both.
