You were my link to my Beaverstock genealogy. You gave me information that I could not discover on my own. You and Aunt Shirley were my inspiration to discover all the Beaverstock family members around the world that fit directly into our family tree. I so enjoyed talking to you about my discoveries. I will miss you.

Oh what fond memories I have of Mrs. Plante..:) I spent many times in her home with CP and had lots of fun times with her. I can here her now saying "Chris" and commenting on the memory wall in the hall upstairs. (Ha Ha!) My times with CP and her are some of my best childhood memories.
So Sorry for the loss to all in the Plante family. I know her GREAT qaulities will live on in all of you.

I first met Charlotte at one of St. John's many rummage sales. When I attended my first quilting class more than 35 years ago a tiny lady with a tote bag almost half her size walked through the doorway and I said, "I know you....you are the lady from the St. John's rummage sales!" Thus began a strong, loving and very meaningful friendship----a friendship that helped us through some difficult times as well as many joyous ones. We truly 'got' each other and supported each other as best we could.
When Charlotte asked me to sub for a worker at the lanes I got to see firsthand just how much she absolutely loved children. She could recall all their names and what year we watched them while their moms (and sometimes their dads) bowled. She would tell us which highschool graduates were former nursery attendees. Her 'children' returned to the bowling lanes with THEIR children for her to watch. The person I was subbing for never returned and Linda Shorts joined us to complete the other 1/3 of our brain. We used to joke about how much we depended upon each other to have a complete brain. It was usually Charlotte that came up with whatever answer we were searching for at the time. The three of us enjoyed more than 20 years of working together and then the new owners did away with the nursery but never put a dent in our 3-way friendship.
To Charlotte's family....I am SO sorry about your loss. I shall miss her dearly. It's hard to believe I will never hear her voice on the phone again. I hope she has met Rusty in Heaven!
Fondly,
Dottie

To Charlotte's family: My sincere sympathies to you all. I have such fond memories of our times together at St. John's - so many rummage sales that wouldn't have happened without Charlette's committment to those fundraisers. She was a dear lady and a special friend, and I am blessed to have known her. God's blessings to you all.

Our deepest sympathy goes to Art and to the Plante family and to her brother Allen. Charlotte and I were friends since school and she was our maid of honor when we married on May 29, 1954 (her birthday).
I will always remember my dear friend and will pray that her family will be comforted during this very sad time. If Art or Cathy or Allen who remember me wants to contact me via e-mail, it is etheltautkus@ yahoo.com May God Bless you all. Sincerely, Ethel and Irv Tautkus.
