Constance "Tina" Young

Constance "Tina" (Perruccio) Young, 84, of Kensington, widow of Edward R. Young, Sr., passed away Sunday (November 24, 2013) at her home. Born in Waterbury, daughter of the late Paul Perruccio Sr. and Lillian (Sortino) Perruccio, she was a former New Britain resident and lived in Kensington since 1965. Tina is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, Class of 1947. Tina was the owner and company Secretary at ER Hitchcock Printing Company in New Britain from 1964 until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of Kensington Congregational Church in Kensington; was formerly active at the Berlin Branch of the YMCA; and was a former member of the Monday Night Club at the church. Surviving is a son, Edward R. Young, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Southington; three daughters, Susan Pepe and her husband Mark of Kensington; Leslie Davidow and her husband Richard of Southington; and Laurie Aberizk also of Southington; a brother, Paul Perruccio, Jr. of Waterbury; and ten grandchildren. Besides her husband Edward Young Sr., Tina was predeceased by two grandsons, Kyle and Robert; and three sisters, Josephine Summa, Frances Czepiga and Eleanor Sprague. Tina will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Funeral services are Monday (December 2) 10 a.m. at Kensington Congregational Church, 312 Percival Avenue, Kensington, CT 06037. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Calling hours are Sunday 4-7 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain.
