ALICATA, Corrado
Corrado Alicata, 81, of Hartford, loving husband for 63 years of Concetta "Lucy" Alicata, died Tuesday, (June 18, 2013) at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Canicattini Bagni, Sicily, son of Sebastian and Concetta (Citro) Alicata. He and his wife immigrated to the U.S. in 1960. Prior to his retirement, Corrado worked in the food industry and was a self employed business owner. He was a communicant of St. Augustine and a member of the Canicatinese Men's Society. Besides his wife he is survived by a son Sebastian Alicata and his wife Alesia of Colchester; two grandsons, Corrado and Devon, a brother Salvatore in Italy; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law with whom he shared ownership of a two family homes in the South End of Hartford for over 50 happy years, Paul and Maria Uccello and their children Salvatore Uccello of Middletown and Regina Healy of New Jersey; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Salvatore and Anna Carbone of Wethersfield, Concetta Carbone of FL and many loving nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family.
The funeral will be Friday, June 21, 2013, 10:30 a.m. from The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethesfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave. Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT. Sebby ,Alesia, Corey and Devon- I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father and grandfather. He was such a nice man and I see alot of him in Sebby. I am sorry that I could not attend the services as I just found out. I love you all and will call you to see if you need anything.

Sebi and family-
Let the warm memories of your father help you through this difficult time. He was a very special man. I have fond memories of eating the most wonderful Italian food at his house when our kids were little.
