What a great loss for us all. Michele, you have lost a loving father, Chris, a doting grandfather, and David and I, a wonderful and caring friend. Damien was initially friends with my parents in Florida. Over the years, he did so many kind things for them and us, it would be difficult to list them. One, however, that jumps to mind is saving my father's life during a tennis match. The world is a poorer place without his caring presence. We shall miss him dearly.

Michele I am very sorry for the loss of your dad. I know how it is being an only child, it is very overwhelming. I am glad I saw your dad earlier during the year and again just before he passed. I have many fond memories as friends and neighbors on West Point Terrace. Time heals all wounds and I know your strength and courage will help you to carry on in his memory.

Michele,

I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I only knew your father as the most kind and most gentle of men. I am truly saddened by your loss. Although I had not seen your dad in many years, whenever I did see him his gentle nature and warm smile fondly reminded me of my gramps.

My prayers for your father and yourself, Michele.

Michelle and family,

My sincerest condolences on the loss of Damian. He was a very good man who showed great generosity and kindness to my husband and I. My family (Evans) has been interconnected with members of the Volpe family and their counsins the D'Angelos in many ways over the years. Ironically, Dom will be laid to rest just a few feet from my father. Having lost my Dad I know how life changing it is. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Uncle Dom, you will be missed. When I think of you, I will always remember your gentle and caring nature. Fond memories of the summers at Sound view beach where the family would rent bungalows w/Nonna Lucia and all the uncles. You were the only one that had the patience to sit down with me each evening and go over my flash cards so I could keep up in grade school. I always loved my time spent with you and Aunt Suse. The knockwurst and sauerkraut dinners at your apt when you were newlyweds, the BBQ's at your house when Michele was my new beautiful cousin. I'll remember it all and forever savor all the wonderful memories you have given me. Till we meet again. "Love you more." Lucy
