David Quast Obituary



David A. Quast, 79 of Middletown, died Nov. 21st at Water's Edge of Middletown. Born Oct. 10, 1934 in Hutchinson, MN he was the son of the late Adolpf R. and Ida (Wohlforth) Quast. David worked as a Publishing Executive for McGraw-Hill Publishers for over 30 years before his retirement. He had served as the President of the School Board in Cortlandt Manor, NY. David is survived by his former wife Donna Quast of Cheshire, his son David E. Quast and his wife Kelly of East Hampton, a brother John Quast and his wife Nancy of MN, and his three grandchildren Olivia, Miranda and Liam Quast. He was predeceased by a son Carl Quast. A funeral service will be held Saturday Dec. 21st at 11AM in Bethlehem Lutheran Church in East Hampton. Burial will be at a later date in Cortlandt Manor, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter 2075 Silas Deane Highway Suite 100 Rocky hill, CT 06067. David was a brilliant handsome guy with a lot of talent. His concern for others was awesome. He will always be with us in our memories. My condolences are with all of his loved ones.
