Daylon Ore Obituary
Daylon R. Ore "Murph", 22 passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016. He was born on March 22, 1994, in Hartford, CT; to Stepman Baskerville and Janet Martin. Daylon had been enrolled at Pine Manor College in MA; besides his parents he is survived by his stepdad, 2 brothers, 1 sister, grandmother, great grandmother, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. A celebration of his life will take place on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 12PM, at Mt. Olive Church Ministries, 22 Battles St. Hartford, CT., with calling hours at the church from 10AM- 12PM. I recall when I first met you at Urban League for your summer job and out of all my employees you always knew what to say to your counterparts when they were acting up, you stood up for what you believed in, you were a leader. Murphy Leeeee!!! This feels unreal having to write to u via guestbook for your obituary. I can close my eyes and still see u walking down Nelson street the last time I saw you. Just like any other time we embraced..updated one another on life and how everything was going and went our separate ways. I miss u lil brah..this hurts more than any other passing tab ice dealt with. But I know u up there shaking dudes crazy with that left hand. Save a spot for me up there and tell Tae I said what up. I was saddened to hear about Daylon. He was one of my students at Fox Middle and I used to see him from time to time while I was teaching at HPHS. I remember Daylon as frequently smiling and always pleasant to talk to. I'm sorry for his family's loss.
